Not listed: barangay officials and halls
Barangay captains and councils are not named, for the same reason as the municipal officials (see why), and no barangay office addresses or numbers are published.

A project is placed in Calatagan only when DPWH’s description says so; a few described vaguely may be missed. Per PSA, total population is household population plus institutional population. A barangay can therefore report people but no households: Baha reports 83 persons, 0 household population and 0 households, exactly as PSA publishes them. PSA does not say which institutional quarters those persons were enumerated in, and this project does not speculate.
Retrieved from PSA's own statistical database (OpenSTAT) for the 2024 Census of Population. The 25 barangay counts reconcile exactly to PSA's municipal total for both population and households; the pipeline refuses to write the dataset otherwise. PSA's definitions of each measure are captured from the same table and published alongside the figures.

These are national government projects implemented by DPWH (mostly its Batangas 1st District Engineering Office), not projects of the municipal government.
Every DPWH contract whose record mentions Calatagan was read, then kept only if its own description places the work in Calatagan, Batangas ("…, CALATAGAN, BATANGAS"). Contracts on the Nasugbu–Lian–Calatagan national road that give kilometre posts but no municipality, and packages that bundle Calatagan with another municipality, are listed separately and not counted. Barangays are read from the description. The rule is tested against real descriptions (scripts/lib/dpwh-location.test.ts).

Outlines from an open dataset of PSGC-coded barangay shapes, matched to PSA’s 25 barangay codes for Calatagan (the pipeline refuses to write if any code is missing or extra). Coordinates are rounded to about a metre; the dataset’s area fields are dropped.
