Calatagan’s own days

Founding anniversary, 16 December

Calatagan’s founding anniversary has been declared a special (non-working) day in the town by separate proclamation, most recently for 2025:

It is not listed for 2026 until a proclamation for 2026 is found. Local special days are declared one at a time during the year; the municipality announces them too.

Each date was read from the proclamation that declares it: Proclamation No. 1006 (the annual list, read from the signed certified copy), Nos. 1189 and 1264 (the Eid holidays, whose dates are fixed during the year) and No. 1220 (Calatagan’s Cultural Day).
